Snapchat has a bright (and long) future - Oct. 25, 2013: "Snapchat is part of a brand new social media trend that is gaining strength. In an increasingly public world, the erasable media trend has become a more attractive option for many social media users who want to keep certain content just between friends and only for a short time."
Erasable is a bit antithetic to many things I might come up with mainly because I always feel as if things are so fleeting, and so rapidly decaying. My belief has been to archive things, preserve them, back them up. Yet the concept of sharing something fleeting obviously has found its followers!
