I wonder if anyone out there truly gets some of the concepts that I had been implementing for years but only just now have been observing tangible increases in web traffic. Sharing information is the primary concept behind the success of open source software. It is perhaps the new paradigm behind an ever more complex world wide economy. The sense that as a people, our shared global issues, impact the lives of everyone.
Indeed the domino effect regarding corporations that ultimately fail because they are too busy dedicating limited financial and human resources, protecting and developing solutions along the lines of a profit based, and proprietary rights exclusive use; will most likely give way to more dynamic cooperative efforts and alliances with the inherent ability to share in licensing revenues. The equitable distribution of the profits will of course need to be worked as part of the complexity of enabling a new paradigm to come to fruition.
Profit of course being the life blood of any existing or new corporate entity, which of course are required both to pay back development costs along with interest as well as profit distributions which are required for the survival and growth of the individual corporations.
