Google rewiring the way we remember, study says | Health Tech - CNET News: "new study of Columbia University students suggests another Internet-related side effect: All that Googling we're doing may be impacting our memory (which might not be a bad thing if it helps us forget all the scary things our online lives are supposedly doing to us).
The good news is our dependence on Internet searches isn't necessarily shrinking our cerebral cortexes"
Editors Note: I really may have made a huge mistake with Google. There is no doubt that they are a giant in the internet world. The only thing I really did was, in trying to set up a small web based business I thought I would maybe mix in a little discussion about SEO, in a humorous sort of way. However I knew I was not kidding myself, SEO is a big money game, and the biggest winners in that game is, you guessed it Google.
Now back in the day, there used to be all sorts of companies around that would submit you website to whole bunch of search engines for a price. Yet, the thing that was subtle, and there was probably no way to see it coming is that we all got pretty darned dependent on Google. So it seems with the "new change" and their new concept of relevance, we are all going to need to adjust with whatever this new paradigm-shift info has in store for us.
