I believe it was in the introduction of this book that its authors explained that while it is well know that Thomas Edison was the person generally acknowledged and credited with the "invention" of the light bulb, had it not been for the team he had built, tirelessly trying, and experimenting with different filaments and the development of the vacuum glass enclosure, nothing would have ever come of his amazing discovery. -Stephen C. Entrepreneurs and Inventors Need Each Other
